Charge Nurse LPN Position

Highline Rehabilitation & Community Care is a 120 bed licensed SNF facility.  We have a 30 bed sub-acute unit.  Census is up and staying that way.  We are on the transformational road to Culture Change in eldercare nursing.  We have started Neighborhoods and Staff are in permamnent assignments.  We now have Neighborhood Nursing managers to help resolve issues and direct overall Care.  In June we will implement a 5 meal program that allows residents to wake up as they choose and enjoy a local continental breakfast of their choice.  This is just the beginning.  Things are looking up and we have an energetic committed team to keep it that way.

Full time Evenings with every other weekend off. 

Responsible for the care of a group of residents including medications, treatments, and communication with all health care team members.

Responsible for the supervision of CNAs assigned to residents in their care.

Engages family members as needed to help develop a resident centered plan of care.

Works cooperatively and collaboratively in a team setting.

Enjoys the art and science of Gerontological Nursing.

Has a good heart, gentle hands and a welcoming disposition.
